This course extensively deals about transistors and their operations. Transistor is a miniature electronic component that can do two different jobs. It can work either as an amplifier or a switch. When it works as an amplifier, it takes in a tiny electric current at one end and produces a much bigger electric current at the other. It can amplify and switch electrical power and electronic signals. Transistors are made of semiconductor material with three or more terminals used to connect to an external circuit. By applying a current or a voltage to one of the pairs of the terminals, there is a change in current through another pair of terminals.When using the transistor as a switch, a small Base current controls a much larger Collector load current.

In this module you will learn about operations of multistage transistors like darlington, cascaded and cascoded amplifiers. This also deals with working and analysis of differential amplifier.
In this module you will learn about FET amplifiers with different configurations like CD, CS and CG. This also deals with analysis of FET amplifiers using different models.
In this module you will learn about the high and low frequency response of different amplifiers. This also deals about miller effect, short circuit gain, and bandwidth.
In this module you will learn about different types of power supply and their applications and the working of power supplies with regulators. Also you will learn about the regulation of voltage when converted from AC to DC.
