Course Content

Basic circuit analysis

In this module, you will learn how the circuit will perform. At the most basic level, circuit analysis is used to predict the performance of a given circuit with all the resistive elements. You will learn about the Ohm's Law and observe how the Ohm's Law works when the resistors are in series or in parallel and also learn to find equivalent resistance for simple and complex resistive circuits.

Circuit analysis

Circuit analysis is the process of finding all the currents and voltages in a network circuit of connected components. In this module, you will look at the basic elements used in a circuit and find out what happens when elements are connected together or interchanged into a circuit, different methods for analysis of circuit which includes Kirchhoff’s laws (current and voltage), Mesh current analysis and Node voltage analysis. All these analyses are required when you are coming up with a new circuit design for some specific application and it is important to know, how the circuit will perform.

Network reduction

This module is designed to know how you can reduce the size of a network model by dividing the current and voltage using voltage division rule and current division rule.
